Meet the Members of Urban Ditty!

ERIC B.
Hey everybody its Eric B., a mindful man who loves the City of Philadelphia. In my first year at Temple University, I began to realize how many out of state students appreciated the music and culture of Philadelphia. They were always thirsting for knowledge about the city and its artists. Because of this and local friends' current disinterest of the Philadelphia scene, I decided to partner with Ari W. & A. Feags to create Urban Ditty. I hope that this blog will show Philadelphia and the world its vibrant and thriving culture. If you want to get to know me more feel free to follow on Twitter or request on Facebook, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, I love this city more than anything, one reason being the arts are incredible. My
dad, also a Philly native, introduced me to great music at a young age, as I got older I branched out from music to oil painting and photography. I took a year off in between high school and college to work on a documentary for Scribe Video Center, coach a girl’s lacrosse team, and help create Urban Ditty. I think this past year has been one of the most exciting in that I never quite know what is coming next. Unfortunately I am heading off to Richmond, Indiana to attend Earlham College, however I will stay very involved in the blog and will return to Philly as frequently as possible. Philadelphia is an incredible city for the arts, and many people have no idea that this is true. My goal with this blog is to show people that so much is going on in this city, they just have to do a little digging to find it. Hit me up! Either on Flickr, Twitter, and/or Facebook, I would be so happy to hear from you guys!

Being raised in Philadelphia, PA. there is no doubt that I was exposed to its one of a kind artistic culture. My involvement in modern dance, photography, and sketch art has helped me develop a greater appreciation for what Philadelphia's art scene has to offer. However, realizing that so much local talent was going unnoticed, I felt the need to start spreading the word. I combined my love for Philly as well as its music and arts scene, and the idea for Urban Ditty was born. Along with Eric B. & A. Feags. I plan to create a positive buzz for our artists, provide our readers with articles about their favorite local musicians, as well as post great events to keep their Philly experiences
interesting. Contact me on Twitter and/or Facebook
:)

Now that you know a little about us, please do contact us with artist and event info! Don't forget you can reach all of us at UrbanDitty at gmail . com or on our Facebook Group! Let's support our local talent!
